Sept 2011: Shop Smarter for a Cause

Malaysia’s leading affiliate program network, Affiliate Junction, announced its inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility initiative through MyKad Smart Shopper Program and named National Cancer Society Malaysia, NCSM, the beneficiary for the program’s year long contributions commencing from 1 October 2011.

An MOU had been signed between Affiliate Junction and the NCSM this September, stating 1% of the program retail transactions to be donated to the NCSM starting from 1 October for an initial period of 12 months.

“We admire NCSM’s good work in helping the cancer patients and their families who are in need, and we hope through the program, we will not only be able to help in terms of monetary contribution, but also to help promote public awareness towards the organization and its community,” said Teo, the founder of Affiliate Junction.

Public can now contribute in helping the underprivileged cancer patients in this country through this CSR program simply by shopping at the MyKad Smart Shopper Program’s participating merchants, while enjoying discount and earning reward points at the same time.
